At Avon Oaks

Avon Oaks is known as Northeast Ohio’s destination country club that prides itself on offering something for the entire family. That exact reputation is what led the way when designing and building this two-part project.

While there are multiple components of the redesigned spaces, the major installations include the pool and putting green patio. The existing pool was dated and needed a complete restoration. Club members expressed the desire for a larger lounging and dining space and that is exactly what we gave them. We resurfaced the entire pool deck and updated the landscape surrounding. Adding an aluminum fence around the border increased safety and helped designate this recreation area from the rest of the club. The fencing is divided by masonry columns that bring a natural element to the overall project.

On the other side of the fencing, we enhanced the landscaping and installed three notable water features that work in pair with the stone columns and add to the tranquil ambiences. We also designed and erected a custom radius pergola that separated the kiddie pool from the sun deck. Matching the spitting water features on the border of the pool, we added soothing jet jumpers in the kiddie pool for entertainment and aesthetics.

On the backside of the club, directly off the dining room, we laid a spacious paver patio using high-quality Unilock material. A low seating wall with built-in landscape down-lighting separates the putting green from the hardscape. A common social space and great spot to start and finish a round, we also built a matching paver firepit nestled off the putting green to enrich the club experience.
